November’s theme is Beaujolais Nouveau. This French dinner is traditionally held on the third Thursday of November. The wine served is from that year’s harvest and is traditionally young and fruity.
Menu is as follows:
Brie bites, spiced nuts and cheese puffs, hand made at the winery.
Wine: PInot Blanc
Classic wedge salad: iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, bacon, green onion with bleu cheese dressing and crumbles
Wine: Zinsational Blush
Coq au Vin: half chicken (leg/thigh/breast) with mushrooms, bacon, onion, red wine and cream. Served with mashed potatoes, roasted carrots, and green beans
Wine: French Bergamais specially prepared for this dinner.
